Being a personal weblog there is license to write whatever I like – but I’ve avoided self-indulgence over the years in a useless attempt to encourage readership
Just wanted to drop a note to tell you how things are going.
I haven’t been working at Loving Hut for a few months now which in one way is a relief and in another way a bit of a bummer. Instead I’ve been “looking for work” aka starting the web business Blog Frog. As usual I’m presented with my usual procrastination and self-doubting crap.
This post by famous blogger Seth Godin inspired me into a little positivity, as the posts on Zen Habits usually do. Actually I’d like to introduce you all to Leo who is a vegan (this means he goes part way to legendary in my books just like you would/do) and runs the blog. The internet is full of inspirational crap for nerds, but this site seems truly down to earth. Leo’s a family man and amateur athletic so he’s bound not to be too disconnected from most of life the way a lot net authors are (cough *not me* cough).
Generally though I feel quite blocked in most aspects at the moment, but I’m riding it out knowing that it’s just a result of past attitudes. I’m waiting for the day I wake up full of energy, enthusiasm and direction again. But I don’t want to motivated by ego as I have been before, I want to motivated by heaven. I guess this break from existence is just a buffer between these two types of having-it-together.
To all of you who have been supportive during this time (vegan/veggie friends from Brisbane), thanks heaps! I really hope you are equally inspired and comforted through me.
Just to decorate the post a little, here’s a picture I have been working on… not finished yet. I’ve added a couple more for even more colour!

Actually, the article I meant to link to was this one – but the Seth Godin one rocks too.
