Blogging VS wisdom?

By Ali*, on December 19, 2009

Writing’s great. There’s a lot that could be said and plenty of inspiration. But what’s the use? It’s getting to be a struggle.

I could write some things that some people would find interesting. But is that worthwhile?

Ideas once communicated aren’t useful – maybe even harmful. No idea is eternally correct – it all depends on constantly changing circumstance. Apply an old idea to a new situation and you might be lucky but you might not.

What you, me everybody else needs is our own wisdom. If we adopt someone else’s viewpoint we’re missing out on the source. That view was originally developed from wisdom in response to a problem.

Wisdom mirrors an unchanging state beyond mind. It comes from within and we have to dig inwardly to get it.

I’m considering where I go from here. I’m over regurgitating old ideas… I’m tired of wresting with science I don’t really get.

It’s hard to say goodbye to ideas though. Old or not, they make you feel smart.

But then again a cup needs to be empty before it can be full so the sooner the better. I can’t make this transition soon enough.

I guess it’s just this type of ‘I know what wrong with blah listen to me blah’ stuff that I don’t want to write anymore.

I guess I’ve been an egomaniac for so long I’ve convinced myself there’s nothing else. |:-]
